Description

The role of the Parts Order Clerk is to efficiently receive, maintain inventory, put away part stock, work reports, email vendors, answer phones and distribute parts for merchandise carried by AFW. The Parts Order Clerk is also responsible for pulling parts for Customers, Repair Technicians, Service Technicians, Department Managers and other AFW facilities that request merchandise. Starting pay of $18/hr. We offer competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and weekly pay to all of our Team Members. Job Requirements Basic computer knowledge, typing and 10 key required. Knowledge of Microsoft office, including Word, Excel and outlook. Customer service oriented. Ability to communicate via phone, email, web, text message. Multitask, highly organized, detail oriented. Adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Help other departments, work as a team and independently of direct supervision. Storis, Sales force, dispatch track, Fed Ex knowledge preferred but not required. Ability to operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner. All training provided by AFW Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas. Requires manual dexterity, the ability to sit for long periods, grip, bend, stoop, twist, walk, reach, use a box knife, and use ladder/step stool for a minimum of 8 hours daily. Requires continual use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back. Requires the ability to lift, lower, push and pull, and operate a hand truck with all sizes of boxes and merchandise up to 100 lbs with assistance. Requires the ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs. of force to maneuver merchandise for parts verification, with assistance.
