SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under the supervision of the Inventory Manager, the Parts Room/Warehouse Lead maintains inventory control of aircraft parts and aeronautical tools and equipment, as well as directing and guiding the work of the Warehouse/Parts Room Workers assigned to the area of this position’s responsibility.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

• Three (3) years’ experience in the following: receipt, storage, handling, packing, and shipping of stock as well as performing inventories and maintaining inventory records.
• One (1) years’ experience working in the Aviation Management Unit’s warehouse or parts room facility.
• One (1) years’ experience working with the Aviation Management Unit’s computerized logistical database system.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other types of material handling equipment.
• Possess intermediate computer skills of MS Office Products.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license.
• Successfully pass a drug and background check.
• Must be a US Citizen
