Description Job Description Summary The primary function of this position is to Pick up and deliver parts. Perform necessary duties for the smooth operation of the parts department. Functional Responsibilities Pick up and deliver merchandise where directed. Keep proper maintenance of company vehicle. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop. Keep vehicle clean and presentable. Daily check of all fluid levels on company pickup Notify parts manager immediately of any necessary repairs or unusual sounds from company pickup. Must have and keep a valid driver’s license. Help Maintenance clerk to stock parts. Be available for physical inventory. All other duties as assigned Competencies Strong math, reasoning, and analytical skills Communication skills – oral and written Computer skills – Microsoft office applications Excellent organizational and time management skills Knowledge of Accounts Receivable Requirements Experience/Training/Certifications High School diploma or equivalent 1 year of relevant experience preferred Valid driver’s license required Experience in delivery of parts or retail sales. Must have and keep a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of area to cover. Ability to recognize the need for urgency of speedy pickup and delivery. Experience/Training/Certifications A High School Diploma with 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in plant service and repair. R&M Trade School education preferred A Class A or B license required
