Job Description Location: Head Office – Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire Our UK Parts Sales Unit is the dedicated parts enquiry team for Konecranes in the UK, operating from our Head Office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. With an annual turnover of £15 million, the team plays a vital role in supporting our customers and internal stakeholders. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to launch a career in sales within a fast-paced, supportive office environment. Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly and professionally to parts sales enquiries from a diverse engineering customer base Prepare accurate and timely quotations for maintenance service customers Support external UK customers, manage global export enquiries, and assist Konecranes’ internal service branches across the UK Ensure prompt and professional communication to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week 4 days based in the office (inc. 1 day hybrid upon completion of training) 1 day per week allocated for college release Qualifications Candidate Profile: Education: 5 x GCSEs or equivalent (minimum grade 4), including maths and English. Strong verbal and written communication skills An interest in engineering is essential Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional environment High levels of enthusiasm, motivation, and self-initiative Technically minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Proficient in using computers and standard office software Committed to delivering excellent customer service Our Apprenticeship Programme spans 15 months and is built on traditional learning methods, combining hands-on experience with dedicated coaching and mentoring from our experienced Sales Engineers/advisors. This approach ensures you gain practical knowledge, develop essential skills, and build a strong foundation for a successful career in sales.
