The role:
This role will oversee the sales and product management for Daimler Truck Parts, with a specific focus on Freightliner and All-Makes parts. Through developing strong relationships by providing exceptional customer support and engagement, this role will develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Working closely with our dealer and supplier partners to ensure sales growth, supply, price competitiveness, product introductions, and above all, customer satisfaction, is the key to success in this role.

Reporting to the Vice President, Aftersales and Network Operations, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed the FTL and All-Makes sales targets.
  • Actively communicate with dealers and suppliers to identify sales opportunities.
  • Work with dealers to drive sales growth and market penetration through the use of the Daimler Truck Parts Portal.
  • Manage market research, implement project plans, and take measures to increase revenue and market share.
  • Manage and expand FTL and All-Makes Parts products by developing business relationships through exceptional customer support and engagement.
  • Ensure that activities and transactions with Key Account customers are in line with DTAuP compliance policies, agreed payment terms, and that any debtors are followed through to a positive outcome.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and materials.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of sales orders and invoices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with the procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance and market conditions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
