Description Job Purpose: The primary responsibility of this position will be to promote the sale of container parts to customers and to provide excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone. The Parts Sales Representative organizes, sorts, checks for inaccuracies of new and used parts associated with the manufacturing/modification of containers. Job Summary: This position reports to the VP of Sales. The ideal candidate should possess good oral and written communication skills, including good typing, basic computer skills, legible handwriting and the ability to distinguish between similar part codes. Detail oriented and team player. Responsibilities: Accident prevention – actively identify, correct and/or report safety hazards to prevent accidents. Actively identify and pursue cost reduction and efficiency/profit improvement opportunities. Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the Sea Box Quality Policy calling for self-inspection of your work product. In charge of selling parts Provide excellent customer service Fill out and put together customer parts orders Keep part cut sheets up to date In charge of Shipping and Receiving parts for customer orders Assist customers with parts look up and parts orders Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with others to include customers, vendors, employees and the public. Work closely with purchasing department to assist with inventory control. Maintain cost/parts database Monitor/supervise online sales and customer service through shopify. Coordinate with purchasing on the ordering of parts Performs other duties as assigned Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner. Requirements Skills/Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience: The candidate should possess 1-2 years related experience.
