Description
The Shipping and Receiving / Driver employee is responsible for receiving incoming automotive parts shipments, checking inventory accuracy, organizing stock, preparing outgoing orders, and delivering parts to customers or service locations safely and on time. Responsibilities * Receive and inspect incoming automotive parts and supplies * Verify shipments against invoices and purchase orders * Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory areas * Pull and package parts orders for technicians or customers * Load and unload delivery vehicles * Deliver parts to repair shops, dealerships, or commercial customers * Obtain delivery signatures and maintain delivery records * Operate forklifts or pallet jacks when needed * Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse and delivery areas * Assist with inventory counts and stock control * Communicate with parts managers, service advisors, and customers regarding orders and deliveries Qualifications * Valid driver’s license with clean driving record * Ability to lift heavy parts and packages (often 50+ lbs) * Basic computer and inventory system skills * Strong attention to detail and organization * Good customer service and communication skills * Knowledge of automotive parts is helpful * Warehouse or delivery experience preferred * Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License, safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States. * Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
