Description Description Job Summary: The Inventory Specialist will work within Rohr’s Parts Department overseeing the ordering and managing parts for construction and service jobs for both Rohr Gasoline Equipment and Kelly Maintenance, along with providing a high level of external and internal customer satisfaction. This position will need to maximize part sales, inventory control, and control expenses. Attracts, retains, and effectively engages Department and Office personnel. Essential Duties: · Provide/source all personnel with limited or hard to find parts as requested · Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system · Efficiently maintain multiple part locations · Ensure all necessary parts are stocked and ready to use · Create purchase orders to buy necessary parts for stock, customers, or work orders · Monitor the market for the best inventory cost(s) · Take inventory of stock and replenish, or purge, when needed according to the parts usage reports · Receive parts ordered and check shipping documents vs. merchandise received for accuracy · Assist in keeping the Parts Department clean and orderly • Have a general understanding of parts for both construction and service fields related to petroleum industry. · Provide Internal Employees and Customers with parts as requested – may require driving requested parts to some DHT locations · Maintain positive relationships with outside vendors, customers, and employees · Delegate daily tasks efficiently and appropriately to Parts personnel · Prepare shipments for transfer to other DHT locations · Efficiently and courteously handle incoming customer calls for both parts orders and service requests Requirements Requirements Job Requirements: · 2-3 years of applicable experience · Organized, strong time management skills · Must be able to use Windows-based programs and be able to learn/understand our business management software · Acceptable MVR Preferred Requirements: Verifiable experience with Aptora Experience with Microsoft, Outlook, and Excel Physical Requirements:· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds · Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen Possess the stamina to stand for extended periods of time · Possess the ability to move and bend frequently · Possess the ability to climb ladders and reach merchandise regularly
