The primary responsibility is for the overall success and continued growth of Cobalt Truck Equipment parts department. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Perform and supervise day to day operation of all parts related functions at Cobalt truck Equipment branch. * Oversee all transaction to be completed as policies and procedures dictate. * Supervise and perform reviews for direct reports.  Currently but not limited to Parts Associates or Commercial parts associates. * Train, mentor, and guide directs reports in an up-lifting manor that delivers a professional and confident experience for both the employee and customer. * Maintain and improve inventory and stock levels by performing weekly audits and cycle counts.    * Oversee day to day transactions for accuracy for both reporting and billing. * Determine parts and shop supplies needed to be always on hand to better provide for our customers and service department. * Maintain and improve customer relations and cultivate new customer business at the branch level. * Maintain and improve building and yard associated with Parts inventory management. * Build and maintain inventory policies and procedures that help the branch maintain and improve parts efficiencies to a 5S standard.   Competencies * Communication Proficiency * Organizational Skills * Mathematical Skills * Technical Capacity * Thoroughness * Time Management Supervisory Responsibility  Directly supervises one or more employees in the parts department. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Will include assigning and directing work. Work Environment This position works in an office setting, with some shop or warehouse exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.  Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
