Description:

Job Title: Parts Supervisor
Reporting to: Aftersales Manager
Department: Parts
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with one Saturday in every four weeks, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair
  • Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and CMMS
  • Experience with data entry and warehouse operations
  • Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes and equipment repair
  • Forklift operation experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Parts Supervisor at Saxton 4x4, you will be responsible for efficiently sourcing and supplying vehicle parts to customers and workshop vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of service. Your role is pivotal in meeting sales targets, maintaining stock accuracy, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stock Control: Receive, verify, and record parts/consumables deliveries, ensuring accuracy against orders.
  • Parts Management: Identify, locate, invoice, and issue parts/consumables to customers and internal teams using dealership systems.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide precise and detailed parts quotations to internal departments, retail customers, and trade clients.
  • Issue Resolution: Professionally handle customer complaints and queries promptly.
  • Administration: Administer parts invoices, ensuring all items are accurately accounted for.
  • Promotions: Communicate relevant offers and promotions to customers where appropriate.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and monitor effective department processes to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a robust inventory control system, including periodic physical stock checks.
  • Warranty & Returns: Submit warranty and return claims within the required timeframes to maximise credit recovery.
  • Order Discounts: Utilise discount programmes to achieve stock order goals.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all department tools, equipment, and vehicles are well-maintained and in good working condition.
  • Additional Support: Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
