The Opportunity Along with supporting warehouse operations, the Parts & Supplies Delivery Driver provides the safe transport of all parts and supplies to our service technicians and customers throughout New England. This position will require use of your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement. The hours for this position are Monday thru Friday from 7:30AM to 4:00PM. Your Impact at BDS · Use a personal vehicle to deliver parts and toners to customer locations all around New England · Extend outstanding support by meeting customers’ needs on time. · Assemble machines as per specifications with hand and power tools and measuring devices · Manage accurate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies. · Troubleshoot equipment · Customer interaction and always maintaining professionalism · Establish relationships with clients. · Shipping/receiving tasks · Operate pallet jacks/ability to obtain forklift certification · Maintain professional appearance, and personal conduct always · Assist in assuring a safe work environment · Adhere to warehouse standard operating procedures · Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures · Follow Boston Document Systems’ procedures for safe driving, mileage and delivery records · Ensure the cargo is secure · Pays attention to detail, is dependable, productive, works well in a team setting · New Equipment Builds · Warehouse cleanliness and upkeep · Refurbishment · Cycle Counts when necessary · Mechanical aptitude · Computer skills and able to understand and follow machine manuals · Great communication skills with team members and customers · Ensure the cargo is secure · Verify the contents of all deliveries · Assists the Warehouse team when not on the road Requirements What You’ll Need to be Successful · GED or High School Diploma · Clean driving record required · 2+ years of experience required · Clean CORI required · Must be able to drive for long durations of 8 hours or more · Must be able to lift 75 lbs. · Valid driver’s license · A reliable vehicle What BDS Brings to the Table · Competitive compensation -commensurate with experience · Medical, vision, dental · Supplemental Insurance options · Pet Insurance & Legal plan coverage options · Generous paid time off (PTO) program · Employer paid Life Insurance · 401(k) plan with company match · Professional development · Company Outings and Events Company Website: Bdsdoc.com Our company believes that a team with diverse talents and experiences helps us deliver high quality, creative, and innovative services to our clients and fellow employees.
