JOB SUMMARY:

The Parts Support Person plays a key role in supporting shipping, warehousing, and other essential tasks within the Parts Department. This position is responsible for promptly and effectively handling incoming and outgoing shipments to meet the service standards expected by both internal and external clients of Frontier Power Products. The role also includes general support across the branch, such as inventory coordination and assisting with day-to-day operational needs.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 of years forklift operating experience is required.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers’ license and clean drivers abstract required.
  • Enrollment in a Parts Technician Apprenticeship program is an asset.
  • Basic inventory knowledge such as bin location understanding, In/Outs, and physical inventory count processes.
  • Knowledge in preparing courier, LTL shipment manifests, and cross border shipping requirements.
  • Previous experience using MS Office applications and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g. Epicor).
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. with reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute as an effective team player.
  • Efficient in time management and planning.
  • Follows all safety protocols and promotes a safe work environment

Responsibilities
  • Receive and receipt daily inbound shipments from vendors and other branch locations.
  • Prepare outbound shipments such as customer parts orders, finished production units, BBT transfers, international/provincial cross-border shipments, and other related items.
  • Assist parts staff with order fulfillment when requested
  • Assist production parts with order fulfillment when requested.
  • Pick-up or delivery of local orders and/or assisting shop technicians that require unexpected parts delivery to the job site
  • Other duties as assigned
