POSITION SUMMARY

The Technical Parts & Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of arcade parts management and providing remote technical support to field technicians. This role is 75% focused on managing parts procurement, inventory, and distribution, and 25% focused on supporting technical issues—including arcade systems, computer repair, and troubleshooting via phone and email. This position ensures that both the physical components and technical needs of field operations are met efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in arcade, electronics, or mechanical repair (hospitality or amusement industry experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of electronic systems, including identification of computer board components
  • Skilled in computer hardware assembly and repair, with a solid understanding of component functionality and multimeter usage for diagnostics
  • Familiarity with coin-op and card swipe systems (e.g., Embed, Intercard, or similar).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with good communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Manage sourcing, ordering, receiving, and distribution of arcade game parts and components.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels across all locations.
  • Work directly with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of critical parts.
  • Oversee shipping logistics for parts moving between corporate and field locations.
  • Analyze usage data to forecast future parts needs and minimize downtime.
  • Assist field technicians with parts identification, handling procedures, and ordering processes.
  • Provide remote technical support to field techs via phone, email, and remote tools.
  • Troubleshoot arcade hardware/software issues and basic computer or network problems.
  • Perform light repairs on PCs and arcade equipment at the corporate level when necessary.
  • Track and report recurring technical issues to leadership for process improvement.
  • Help develop support guides and documentation for common field technician issues.
