THE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Automotive parts aftermarket experience an asset
  • Strong knowledge of automotive operating systems and repairs
  • Parts Technician Journeyman ticket an asset but not a requirement
  • Experience working with inventory
  • Commitment to superior customer service with the ability to leave lasting positive impressions
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with the proven ability to prioritize work and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, positive attitude
  • Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of all company related matters
  • Ability to lift, carry, up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance record
  • Team player with the ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently utilize in-store software and external websites to source automotive parts for customers
  • Effectively communicate product features, benefits and warranty policy information to customers
  • Sells a diverse line of automotive parts and commercial supplies to wholesale and retail customers either on the phone or over-the-counter
  • Recognize and respect the unique personalities and specialties of customers and team members
  • Liaison with shops to provide accurate advice to clients
  • Accurately process sales and refund transactions using cash, debit and credit
  • Report discrepancies between actual stock and computer reported stock to management
  • Assist with parts deliveries only in an emergency delivery scenario
  • Maintains store organization and cleanliness
  • Picks orders accurately
  • Works effectively as part of a team; demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude
  • Ensure compliance to all appropriate legislation and company policies
  • Other duties as assigned
