PARTS TECHNICIAN : FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

They have always been essential parts of everyone’s lives. We are looking for someone who has high energy, to match the high energy here at the workplace. Monday to Friday NO weekends. 8-10 hour days
We are a full-service heavy-duty truck repair shop, offering many types of service and parts. We have an onsite Fuel Injection room, Chassis and Stationary Dyno, and machine shop services as well as our parts department.

Due to continual growth, we are on the search for Parts Technicians who will be responsible for ordering, warehousing, inventory control, price quotes, and sales of parts while providing exceptional customer service!

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Able to operate a forklift is an asset
· Journeyman Certificate preferred but not required, will accept 2nd year apprentice. (or many years exp)
· Ability to work independently and as a team player
· Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to lift to approx. 50 Lbs.
· Able to stand for long periods of time
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Must be sales driven, organized, and self-motivated

Responsibilities

· Responsible for daily processing of orders, receiving and shipping duties
· Answer phone calls in a timely and appropriate manner to provide sales, price quotes, and other information
· Memory requirement for product codes and placement within the warehouse
· Pull and fill orders from stock
· Notifies parts administrator of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
· Operate non-powered material handling equipment (dollies, pallet jacks, etc.)
· Responsible for cores, warranties and new part returns as per department policies and procedures with the support of the department manager
· Participate in all training and development programs that are made available and attend all department meetings
· Report all safety concerns and incidents to your Supervisor/Manager
· Maintain a professional appearance and strong work ethic
· Assist in maintaining Elite Support certification
o All areas of the department are clean, organized, and safe
· Other duties as required
