We are growing!! An automotive parts counter person is responsible for customer service and retail sales at an auto parts store. In this position, your responsibilities include selling parts and taking inventory of stock in storage and, if necessary, on shelves. You also help customers and clients make orders via catalog for parts that you do not have in stock. You may need to deliver price quotes over the phone and offer status updates on shipments of parts. Your duties may also involve offering basic advice about parts selection. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts and supplies. Maintain an organized and clean parts area to ensure easy access and efficient workflow. Order Processing: Pull parts for retail and wholesale orders as needed, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. Shipping and Receiving: Load and unload deliveries, check packing slips against actual shipments, and report any discrepancies. Pulls and fills orders from stock. Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
