Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for coordinating day of details for party and group events to ensure a successful and memorable event. * Set up and prepare designated event areas, including cleanliness, seating, food & beverage and any required materials or equipment. * Welcome guests to the event area and interact with them through the designated event time in a friendly age-appropriate manner. * Manage event timing to ensure all scheduled activities (e.g. group arrival, food service, cake presentation, group departure) run smoothly and on time. * Assist with food and beverage service, including distribution of food, drinks, and birthday cake, while adhering to safety and hygiene standards. * Monitor guests, especially children, to ensure safety rules are followed and address any issues or concerns promptly. * Communicate effectively with team members to support seamless event execution. * Handle guest requests, questions, or minor complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of event area during and after each event, including setup and breakdown. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees * Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner * Assist customers with all questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark including facility layout and amenities * Follow all park policies and procedures * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Must be at least 16 years of age * Ability to accept guidance and supervision * Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership * Be aware, attentive, and work well with others * Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Physical Requirements: * Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time * Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 25 pounds, team lift as needed and for heaving objects Benefits: * FREE Season Pass * Free Tickets * Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. * Career Development We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date.
