PASSENGER ASSISTANT

Location: County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay rate: £ 12.26 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children during transit.
  • Assist children in boarding and alighting from the vehicle safely.
  • Provide support to the driver in managing the needs of the children.
  • Communicate effectively with both children and the driver to ensure a smooth journey.

Person Specification

  • Experience in working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patient, compassionate, and understanding demeanor.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to the role.
