We are looking for Passenger Care Ambassadors to join our existing team at Luton DART. We are looking for individuals that will ensure that our passengers have a great experience from the start and at the end of their journey.
Our PCA’s are there to support the operation of the gate-line at our stations at Parkway DART Station, or at our Central Terminal Station. The purpose of the PCA role is to ensure that customers have a great experience as they travel through the station. As a PCA, you will be passionate about delivering a brilliant passenger experience, by being friendly, knowledgeable, and resolve any problems that a passengers may experience as they travel through the station. You will be part of the front-line team and you will be expected to look smart and professional and adhere to uniform standards. You will be provided with a uniform and footwear as part of this role.
The PCA role is a varied role and below are some of the responsibilities of the role:
· Revenue protection for Luton DART and GTR by ensuring that all passengers have the correct ticket to travel.
· Ensuring that the station is safe and secure by undertaking security checks in the station.
·Assisting passengers with their queries and helping them on their journey.
· Additional duties as necessary for operational purposes.
Languages: Fluency in English is required for this role. If you speak any additional languages, those would be advantageous.
Experience: At least 2 years customer service experience in a customer facing role. Experience of working in an airport or rail environment would be advantageous but not essential.
Training: Full training will be provided.
Hours: This role involves shift work on a roster basis, encompassing a mix of early and late shifts over a 7-day period. The early shift runs from 0600 to 1600, and the late shift from 1200 to 2200.
