IMH Recruitment are seeking an experienced Passenger and Transport Manager to provide decisive and effective leadership to team(s) that enables them to do their best work resulting in high levels of people and organisational performance for our client in Leicester, LE5.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience of successfully managing at a senior level and co-ordinating human and other resources to achieve key service delivery objectives and performance targets.
  • Experience of scheduling and logistics at a large scale in relation to Passenger Transport.
  • Experience of managing/monitoring large value budgets.
  • Experience of effective multi-agency partnership working.
  • Understanding of vehicle maintenance standards.
  • Knowledge of DBS process.
  • Knowledge of transportation legislation and safeguarding issues.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Able to work some unsocial hours as required.
  • Able to work at different locations across the city.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Clean Enhanced DBS Check.

  • Manage and develop around 200 council employees.
  • Supervise approximately 12 staff (including matrix-managed and project-based roles).
