WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

You will hold a level 2 or above qualification in a respective health and social care field with 2 years job related experience and be able to demonstrate the following:

• Compassion, patience and a positive approach to care and support.
• Bring an enthusiasm and creativity to each day.
• A willingness to learn about dementia and our person-centred care methods.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to different needs each day.
• Good communication skills and an interest in building genuine relationships.

Age UK Salford and Trafford’s Passion for Life dementia day service believe every day should be filled with connection, warmth, and purpose, no matter where someone is on their dementia journey.
Our active care model blends creativity, conversation, and purposeful activity to help slow cognitive decline and improve quality of life. That means days filled with music, gentle exercise, reminiscence, games, art, and connection with others. Now, we’re looking for someone with heart, energy, and empathy to join our expanding team.

• Build strong, trusting relationships with individuals and their families.
• Support personal care needs with dignity, sensitivity and respect.
• Encourage participation that supports memory, problem-solving and communication.

• Contribute to a warm, inclusive environment where people feel valued and safe.
