They pride themselves on delivering quality uncompromised services in everything they do Job Description We are seeking a detail-driven Passive Fire Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids for fire protection projects. In this role, you will: Analyse drawings, tender documents, and specifications to understand project scope Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), pricing schedules, and full quotations Conduct site surveys to ensure estimates are accurate and compliant Source competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors Capture and price contract variations and track these through the QA system Ensure all bids meet fire safety regulations and client requirements Prepare and review QA documents using specific programmes Collaborate with clients, sales, operations, and project management teams Provide value-engineering solutions to optimise costs without compromising safety Qualifications We are looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and commercial acumen. You will have: Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems (fire stopping, fire doors, intumescent coatings Proven experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or a related construction role Excellent analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office (particularly Excel) The ability to manage deadlines and support smooth project handovers Additional Information This is an exciting opportunity for an estimator who wants to play a key role in ensuring projects are compliant, cost-effective, and completed to the highest safety standards.
