ABOUT US - ROVOLLO RESTAURANT AND WINE ROOM

Rovollo has now opened in the historic MLC building of Martin Place. We are a boutique & moody Italian venue with 70 seats. We are an opulent yet casual restaurant and wine bar, with a high end menu, 250 wines and a great cocktail list from an award winning bar manager. However, service is friendly and warm.
We have just opened and are almost fully booked daily, and now we are looking for a prep chef, focusing on Pasta Prep to help us get ready for service.

Experience:

  • Kitchen: 4 years (Required)
  • Pasta Making: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

The focus of this role will be primarily early AM & morning shifts for preparing pasta, as well as other items that may be required if time permits.

Expected hours is 20 hours per week, 3 days a week.

  • Using a pasta extruder to prepare different shapes of pasta
  • Hand made ravioli
  • Other sauces or other prep required from the site head chef
  • Either part time of full time role available
  • Must have experience with making pasta in some form
  • Experience in restaurant venues for high quality prep
  • Occasional requirements to help in service, but primary focus on prep before service
  • Ensure prep lists are followed
