Description Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee's Summit, MO is a growing parish in the suburban greater Kansas City area. We seek someone who is experienced, knowledgeable, and able to interact with parishioners, staff and visitors in a friendly and warm manner. Please see our website for more parish information, www.holyspiritmo.org. The Pastoral Associate works in coordination with the Pastor and other parish staff on all Pastoral areas of parish life. Responsibilities include: Coordinate and run the Order of Christian Initiation of adults (OCIA) and children (OCIC) and adult Confirmation programs Advocate for the Tribunal Oversee the funeral ministry and end of life programs Coordinate pastoral care to the sick and homebound; lead and train the volunteer homebound ministry participants Act as the Pastor's delegate in the Pastor's absence for parish pastoral functions The candidate must have the ability to work collaboratively with parish staff, parishioners, and the Pastor. The candidate should possess excellent people skills and communication ability. The candidate should have experience with OCIA and basic liturgical guidelines, and be willing to be trained in Tribunal Advocacy if not already familiar. The position is part time, 20-25 hours per week. The salary is based on experience and the Diocesan salary schedule. The position is available starting March 23, 2026. Contact Fr.
