Le Quartier Baking Co. in Lincoln, NE is looking for a full-time employee to join the pastry department at our new production facility, located at 6800 P St #300. We are a French bakery producing high quality baked goods from scratch. The pastry department handles all criossant and cinnamon roll production for our 4 coffee shop locations, wholesale items, and weekend farmers markets.
Our ideal candidate will have good attention to detail with efficient time management, as the dough we work with is time sensitive. We take great pride in our products and expect every member of our team to uphold these standards. Currently our team works 7am to 3pm weekdays,and 5am to 12pm on weekends, but there is some flexibility in scheduling if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds to eye level
• Able to stand for long periods of time (over 2 hours)
• Lancaster County Food Handlers Permit
• Kitchen experience preferred but not necessary

• Use conveyor machinery to make croissants and cinnamon rolls as part of a 3 person team
• Mix cinnamon roll and croissant doughs in large scale batches
• Create specialty pastries using research and development
• Prepare pastry orders to send to our coffee shop locations
• Occasionally help dessert or bread department as needed
• Maintain a clean and productive work environment
