Zak The Baker is a local artisanal bakery known for sourdough bread, croissants, puff pastry, cookies, and cakes — all made from scratch on-site. We are hiring a Pastry Assistant to join our skilled and motivated team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift 30 lb or more and stand for 8+ hours
• Organized, detail-oriented, and focused
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of urgency and punctuality
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays

• Scale, mix, shape, proof, and bake items depending on your station
• Follow instructions, recipes and quality standards carefully
• Work efficiently to keep production on schedule
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist in other stations when needed
