JOB SUMMARY

As a representative for our company, you will responsible for dessert and pastry production (measure and mix
ingredients) and baking according to recipes/guidelines. Experience with ethnic and diverse dessert variations and
with some bread work experience as well. We provide creative flexibility and you would have the chance to work

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Prepares, bakes, cooks, and serves various pastries, cookies, and breads.
  2. Makes all types of desserts; sweet & savory breads(yeast/quick), cakes/cupcakes, pies, torts, flans, custards,
    granolas, cookies, pate a choux, cheesecakes, bars and some vegan desserts.
  3. Writes menus for an array of world cuisine.
  4. Responsible for food quality and presentation.
  5. Prepares breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, doughnuts, biscuits and other pastries, including icings
    and frostings, according to established recipes.
  6. Reviews production schedules to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake and to assemble supplies
    and equipment needed for daily baking activities.
  7. Spreads or sprinkles a range of various toppings on specialty baked items.
  8. Shapes dough for cookies, pies and fancy pastries either by hand or by using dough rollers and cookie cutters.
  9. Receives ingredients and other supplies from main kitchen and/or pantry as required for daily operations.
  10. Cuts and weighs dough into uniform portions with knife or divider, molds dough into loaves or other shapes,
    and places in pans; proofs dough and bakes in oven using peel; inspects product for quality during and after
    baking and makes adjustments to processes as required.
  11. Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils and equipment.
  12. Detects and ensures disposition of spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment and/or other
    unusual conditions.
  13. Completes production sheets and other records as required.
  14. May be required to prepare baked goods for special diets.
  15. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
