Description Halls Signature Events is seeking a full-time Pastry Cake Decorator to join our pastry team in a professional, high-standard culinary environment. This role is designed for a detail-driven pastry professional who understands refinement, restraint, and elevated presentation. Cake decoration is a core specialty of this position, supported by a strong foundation in both classic and modern pastry techniques. This full-time role plays a key part in maintaining the artistry, consistency, and precision expected of a high-caliber pastry program. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, executes with intention, and contributes to a collaborative, creative kitchen culture. Requirements Responsibilities • Prepare, assemble, and decorate cakes, pastries, and specialty desserts • Execute professional decorating techniques including piping, glazing, fondant, and chocolate work • Maintain Hall Management Group standards for quality, flavor, and presentation • Follow standardized recipes and production procedures • Collaborate with pastry and culinary teams to meet daily production and special orders • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safety-compliant workstation • Assist with inventory awareness and production needs Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of professional pastry and cake-decorating experience • Formal pastry or culinary training required; degree/certification preferred • Cake decoration as a primary skill set • Strong attention to detail and time management skills • Team-oriented with a professional, positive attitude Environment This role may support fine dining, events & banquets, or bakery operations, with responsibilities tailored to the setting.
