Job Description •Responsible of market list and food stock management of the section in charge, ensuring ingredients are not running out of stock, monitoring food cost, and maintaining it in line with assigned budget. •Guarantee a high level of food hygiene and safety environments according to HACCP standard, supervise kitchen operations in absence of Executive Chef, and monitor food quality and consistency to ensure the highest standards. •Update recipe, costing, and menu planning for promotions, perform yield testing, ensure proper product rotation and utilization to minimize wastage, and train and develop subordinates to maximize productivity and maintain hotel standards. Qualifications •Secondary / High school education •Additional certification(s) from a reputable Culinary school will be an advantage •Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity •Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language •Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage •Service oriented with an eye for details
