I am searching for a talented pastry chef and baker who’s ready to embrace a slower more fulfilling lifestyle in the charming town of Hamilton. I am opening a garden setting tea shop. Our town is growing with new restaurants opening… They will need bread and pastries also. This could also become the wedding cake destination as people are flocking to MT for their summer weddings. I have living accommodations upstairs, so you can take your time getting settled into the area.
Seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to open their own bakery…. You will full autonomy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with the ability to create delicious and visually appealing desserts. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in an evolving environment. As a Pastry Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pastries and desserts that delight our customers. Please note we are seasonal… Slower winter months and super busy summer months.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in pastry making or baking is required; culinary school training is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Experience in cake decorating, food production, and preparation within the food industry.
  • Familiarity with catering operations or restaurant experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient knife skills and an understanding of various cooking techniques are essential.
