JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for a skilled professional French Pastry and bakery who specializes in preparing and baking bread products, including various types of Croissant, pastries, and other baked goods. Their responsibilities include mixing ingredients, kneading dough, shaping, and baking. Bread Bakers may work in bakeries, restaurants, or other food establishments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-5 years of experience in an artisanal bakery or similar environment or a professional degree in culinary, pastry, bread/viennoiserie
  • At least one year of experience with French pastry, bread and viennoiserie preferred
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the federal, state, and local standards
  • Must understand knowledge of high quality products and be passionate about pastry and desserts
  • Compensation commensurate with experience
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per mont

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake pastries/desserts on daily basis making sure display is always full
  • Organize and manage stocks, work with FOH and BOH teams to analyze and determine production each day of the week in order to minimize waste
  • Design and execute plan for seasonal/holiday display working closely with GM to communicate and promote these items
  • Ensure that all perishable items are stored quickly and efficiently, thus avoiding unnecessary quantities being held within the pastry production areas, always ensuring complete utilization of all items with minimal waste
  • Comply with and fully understand the laws and regulations regarding food safety, health and safety using different equipment
  • Perform all necessary cleaning duties and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the daily production at all times and within all sections
  • Communicate effectively to owner regarding inventory, product pars, and production levels
    Adhere to the strict policies regarding personal grooming and hygiene Ensure all accidents are reported to the owner and/ or supervisor, such as equipment damage or injuries
