JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry production and a keen eye for detail, particularly in the presentation of desserts. This role requires creativity, dedication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Pastry Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delightful desserts and pastries that enhance our menu offerings and delight our customers. Knowledge of bread baking is a plus.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in pastry production with a strong portfolio of baked goods.
  • Proficient in cake decorating techniques and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of food production processes, including preparation, cooking, and packaging.
  • Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on baking techniques.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
  • Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and preparation of ingredients.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
