QUALIFICATIONS

The Ideal Candidate:

  • To be successful in this role, the right candidate should preferably have extensive experience working in a pastry section.
  • Previous Management experience where you were responsible for delivering and developing an offer to meet customer needs and tastes
  • Previous experience as a pastry head chef with responsibility for food production and labour management
  • Recognised culinary or kitchen management qualification.

  • To drive energy, innovation, and food culture across the kitchen and lead your team.
  • To ensure that food presentation is innovative and delivering a great customer experience.
  • Ensure that the highest standards of Food Safety and Hygiene are maintained in the kitchen and associated areas in line with current legislation.
  • Training and mentoring of team and food development.
  • Maintain good communications and working relationships with your team, customers, and the wider team.
  • Full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals: managing waste, standard menus, recipes and ingredients through handling customer driven menus and labour standards. U
