Currently we have opportunities for Pastry Chefs at our 11 Canadian Rd., Scarborough location. Your skills that we need for our team are:
We are looking for people with a passion for making Pastry and Cakes and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries or other sweet products. The preferred candidate will be versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. Our new staff member must adhere to health and safety standards to provide clients with the best possible servings. Our goal is to enhance customer satisfaction so that we can maintain and expand our clientele.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU BRING INCLUDE:

  • Experienced in French and European cakes and pastries: minimum 7-8 years experience in high volume production of cakes and pastries
  • Attention to detail
  • Energetic, punctual, organized and positive
  • Good communication skills, English reading and writing
  • Must be able to work alone and as part of a team
  • Have knowledge of food handling and preparation procedures
  • Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Carries out any other duties assigned by Management.
  • Must be able to go in and out of freezers
  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
  • Work according to Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety standards
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
