A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR A PASTRY CHEF OR A PASSIONATE HOME BAKER HAS ARISEN IN A BRAND NEW, START-UP FOOD BRAND IN NORWICH. WE BAKE FROM SCRATCH USING FRESH INGREDIENTS AND ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT NATURAL, ARTISAN AND OF COURSE, HONEST FOOD.
We operate in a home kitchen environment, making freshly baked produce, including cakes, sausage rolls, scones, cheese straws and other delights for local food markets we attend locally. The business has grown rapidly, and is on the lookout for someone to grow the ever growing demand for our popular range of products.
This fantastic opportunity would suit someone with a passion for baking and having a flare for producing homemade cakes and pastries in volume.
You will be responsible to produce homemade favourites alongside new inspirations and ideas, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene practices throughout all stages of food production.
Working in the founders home kitchen, you will need to be reliable and trustworthy, being comfortable working in a home kitchen environment and not a commercial kitchen. We will scale up to a commercial premises in the future, this is only the start for Honest Kitchen.
Daytime shifts only. Hours anticipated 8-16 hours per week, Friday’s and occasional Saturday’s.
Applicants must have their own transport, we are based on Welsford Rd, Norwich.
Excellent rate of pay, dependent on experience and will be discussed at interview.
