ABOUT YOU:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or industry experience required
  • Experience as a pastry cook or baker.
  • Be able to confidently use a dough sheeter
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    We are a busy Patisserie producing a range of cakes, slices, macarons etc for our retail store as well as a number of wholesale customers.
    We are looking for the right person to join our team. The position requires the candidate to have experience in production of a variety of cakes and pies and be confident with oven work. Piping of Choux pastry and items such as sausage rolls are a must.
    Stock rotation, organising a coolroom, food safety and sanitising are all areas that need to be addressed on a daily basis along side the every day operation of the patisserie.
    We have a great team and are seeking someone with a good personality and excellent communication skills who wants to grow in the industry and gain knowledge from a well established business.
    Start time from 8am - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - No weekends
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 32 per week
