We have an exciting opportunity to join our team and run the kitchen as a Pastry Chef in Central London.
We are looking for a passionate individual to develop dessert menus with flare and creativity. This is an ideal opportunity to progress skills and advance techniques.
Salary & Benefits
Pay is £2200 NET a month

Hours of Work:
Expected average of 40 hour/week
Flexibility toward weekend and evening working is a pre-requisite of this employment. Straight shifts Tuesday - Saturday from 4pm until 11pm
Job Description
Work to deliver the highest pastry standards on a daily basis and exceed client’s expectations
Ensure that cooking and presentation of food is a constant high standard
Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of client
Ensure all time’s schedules/deadlines are achieved
To assist in the training and maintaining all legal health, hygiene and safety records demonstrating kitchen due-diligence
To assist in the purchase, receiving, storage and stock controls of all lines demonstrating kitchen due-diligence
Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained within the kitchen both by you and your team, demonstrating due- diligence
Working individually managing high volumes of various, pastries, fine dining desserts and bespoke items for events
Show some financial management through correct costing, stock taking and menu planning benefiting both Lexington and our customers
To carry out reasonable tasks requested by management
The right candidate:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef
A passion for pastry with a desire to learn and develop skills
Technical baking skills and a creative eye with attention to detail
Be creative, innovative and willing to go the extra mile !
Show drive and passion for producing good quality food
Creative and willingness to contribute new ideas
Good communications skills, excellent command of English, both written and spoken
Well-groomed
Ability to work in autonomy and well under pressure
An excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude to contribute to a happy and pleasant work environment

Eligibility
