DESCRIPTION:

Join our vibrant team at Blue Eyed Baker, All Day Cafe! We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef who is passionate about crafting high-quality pastries and providing a delightful experience to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will specialize in the art of croissant lamination, macaron production, and the creation of a variety of baked goods including scones, cookies, and muffins. This role also involves leading educational pastry classes, managing order flows, and overseeing inventory to ensure excellence in our daily operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in professional pastry or baking experience, with a focus on macarons, cake decorating, and general pastry/bread production preferred.
• Strong cake decorating skills, including buttercream work, with an eye for detail and presentation.
• Experience in a high-volume bakery or pastry kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage inventory.
• Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, with experience leading pastry classes or training staff preferred.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Team-oriented mindset, with strong communication and leadership skills.
