We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our Blacktown facility.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate III or IV in Patisserie or Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience).
  • Prior experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role (Indian sweets experience highly regarded).
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert preparation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to food quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, bake, and decorate Indian sweets and pastries to company quality standards.
  • Develop and refine dessert recipes to maintain consistency and authenticity.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality regulations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets.
  • Assist in training junior kitchen staff as required.
  • Support the development of new dessert products for seasonal or special occasions.
