Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for experienced Chef de Partie to join the Team.
The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare, bake, and decorate pastries, desserts, breads and other baked goods.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture and presentation of all pastry products.
  • Monitor ingredient stock levels, place orders and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie within a food service environment, ideally in hotels or restaurants
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Have a passion and genuine interest in food.
  • Be a team player.
  • Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Have good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
  • Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends, public holidays
  • Good command of the English language.
