Also appointed by Gourmet Traveller as the Victorian Restaurant of the Year 2025. Job Description We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join our high-performing culinary team. As a part of the role you will: Support a designated pastry section, with responsibilities aligned to your level of experience and expertise. Prepare, produce, and present exceptional pastries, desserts and baked goods that consistently meet quality and presentation standards. Collaborate closely with the broader culinary team to deliver seamless service and an outstanding guest experience. Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and workplace organisation within a professional kitchen environment. Contribute to effective inventory management, stock control, and waste minimisation initiatives. Support continuous improvement through creativity, innovation, and a commitment to culinary excellence. Qualifications About You: Previous experience as a Pastry Demi Chef or Chef de Partie in a hatted restaurant A genuine passion for pastry arts, with a strong focus on quality, precision, and attention to detail. Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative and positive approach, coupled with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow. Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
