We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our award-winning culinary team at Knockinaam Lodge. This is a unique opportunity to work in one of Scotland’s most highly regarded small luxury hotels, creating elegant and seasonal desserts, breads, and afternoon tea pastries that reflect the best of Scottish produce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver all pastry, dessert, and bakery items to the highest standard, in line with the style of Knockinaam Lodge.
  • Create menus and seasonal dishes in collaboration with the Head Chef.
  • Maintain consistency and creativity across afternoon tea, restaurant service, and special events.
  • Manage ordering and stock control for the pastry section, working within budget.
  • Uphold food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Contribute to training and developing junior team members where required.
  • Share responsibility for breakfast shifts.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a quality hotel or fine dining environment.
  • A strong passion for pastry and the creativity to produce innovative menus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in presentation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
