SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience working with laminated dough and French viennoiserie

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef with expertise in laminated dough to join our Bondi Beach team. This role is hands-on and requires precision, consistency, and passion for creating high-quality French pastries including croissants, pain au chocolat, and other viennoiserie.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce a consistent range of high-quality laminated pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat, seasonal variations, etc.)
  • Manage daily pastry production schedules to meet demand
  • Maintain quality standards, portion control, and recipe accuracy
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering of ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with the bakery team to develop new pastry products and seasonal specials
  • Assist with training junior team members as required
