Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our Lina Cucina team. You will prepare and finish a variety of pastries and desserts, ensuring each product reflects the authenticity and quality that define Lina Stores. Working closely with the Head Pastry Chef and wider kitchen team, you will follow recipes and production schedules precisely, operate specialist pastry equipment with care, and carry out regular quality checks. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and passion for Italian pastries will be key to consistently delivering exceptional products.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, bake, and decorate pastries, cakes, and tarts using both traditional and modern Italian recipes, following established methods and portion controls.
  • Operate and maintain pastry kitchen equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
  • Follow standard recipes and production plans to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Conduct quality checks at every stage of production to meet Lina Stores’ exacting standards.
  • Monitor ingredient levels, rotate stock, and maintain a clean, organised workstation in line with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the pastry team to meet production targets and contribute creative input for seasonal or new menu items.
  • Support and mentor junior pastry team members as needed.
