Job Description Create and produce a wide range of bakery and pastry items including Croissants (classic, filled, and creative variations) Breads (sourdough, brioche, focaccia, baguettes) Cakes and cake batters (sponge, chiffon, pound, and layered cakes) Cookies, muffins, brownies, and bars Tarts, eclairs, choux pastry, and mille-feuille Seasonal and custom-designed baked products Innovate and test new recipes with a focus on creativity, presentation, and taste Ensure consistency in product quality and adherence to brand standards Supervise daily operations of the bakery and pastry section Maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety and hygiene protocols Monitor ingredient levels, manage ordering and inventory Lead and train junior staff to follow recipes and techniques correctly Collaborate with the management team on menu development and seasonal offerings Staying current and informed of useful culinary trends Ensure compliance with food safety & sanitation regulations Qualifications Requires 4 years’ experience in a high volume/high quality pastry production kitchen Culinary diploma or professional pastry certification is preferred Candidate must have advanced knowledge of pastries and desserts, sanitation and cost control. The candidate must have the ability to manage all aspects of a pastry operation. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
