THE VENUE

In 2019, Dan, Justin and a bunch of chefs went on an epic, multi-stop trip to Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Vietnam. MuMu’s menu is inspired by everything they ate along the way.
Grab some dishes – Dan’s favourites include a selection of sambal with krupuk, wok-fried king prawns with fish sauce and brown butter – and a bunch of drinks, and settle in for a night of flavour, fun and loud music. With a menu designed for sharing, and the famous yuzu slushee doing the rounds, this inner-city hang-out (set within the ivy precinct) is the perfect place to drink, dance, and burn the midnight oil.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a casual Pastry Chef to join the kitchen team at MuMu. You’ll get to work with an amazing team to brings together the playfulness of desserts like Kaya toast ice cream, Halo Halo, Pandan cake and more.

If you have experience or a passion for South-East Asian cuisine this could be the next role for you.

  • Experience in a similar quality restaurant or patisserie.
  • Experience in preparing pastry products, decorating and baking.
  • Asian cooking experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Follows direction well, good communication and execution.
  • Thrive in a busy environment
