Panna Artisan Bakery & Patisserie is seeking 2 casual Pastry Chefs to work in our small, retail bakery in Palmyra, Perth. We are seeking Pastry Chefs with a minimum 2 years experience in patisserie. The roles include making doughs, cookie batters, production of cakes, biscuits, tarts, scrolls, croissants, fillings, creams etc. Applicants should have a broad experience profile and exhibit a collaborative approach to their work, be a team player and have a good eye for detail.
At Panna we specialise in gluten free products, including artisan sourdough and yeasted breads, various scrolls, croissants, cakes, biscuits etc. Everything is made from scratch with quality ingredients and our team members are supported with full training in gluten free flours, techniques and understanding of issues with gluten free baking. You will need to be a good learner and be willing to receive feedback and seek improvements. At Panna we reward and recognise innovation, integrity and a strong work ethic. Our team is small, supportive and seeks to learn and improve.
We have one full time - Casual role, Tuesday to Saturday with shifts from 5am to 1pm Tuesday to Friday and 4am starts Saturday. The part time role is more casual and will be approximately 20-30 hours per week, over various days, as needed. This role has the potential to become full time too. Both roles are for an immediate start. Pastry Chefs will report to the Head Pastry Chef.
