PASTICCERIA PAPA IS SEEKING A MOTIVATED AND EXPERIENCED PASTRY CHEF TO JOIN THE TEAM AT OUR FIVE DOCK PASTRY KITCHEN. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF BAKING (BISCOTTI, SWEETS, CAKES) AND CAKE DECORATING IS ESSENTIAL. THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE PROVEN ABLILITY WITH DOUGH AND THE USING OF A DOUGH BREAKER.

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment, producing cakes and bread for 3 Papa stores as well as wholesale to many businesses in the Sydney area.

The ideal candidates will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar, relevant role.
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised when required, and look after their own section if needed.
  • The ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to and an eye for detail.
  • The ability to prepare and produce items of excellent quality and appearance.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, ready to continue developing your skills to the next level.
