At Praguery, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality pastries made from natural, premium ingredients. Our menu features a wide range of products, including chimney cakes, cheesecakes, danishes, and more. Our central kitchen plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and freshness of everything we serve.
We are now seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to oversee all production and operations in the central kitchen and play a key role in new menu development.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Lead and supervise a small pastry team to ensure high-quality production and daily efficiency
  • Prepare cakes, pastries, laminated doughs, sandwich fillings, and baked goods at scale
  • Produce large batches of sauces and syrups (up to 50L) with precision and care
  • Create seasonal specials in collaboration with our culinary leadership team
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and control food/labor costs in line with targets
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure kitchen safety standards are met
  • Seasonal Menu Development: developing and testing innovative, seasonal menu items that reflect current trends and customer tastes. You’ll have dedicated R&D time to experiment, refine recipes, and contribute fresh ideas to our evolving product lineup

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef
  • Expertise in recipe development, menu innovation, and pastry production.
  • Strong understanding of food cost management and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional pastries.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • A minimum of 3 years of prior experience as a Pastry Chef is required.
