Selden Standard is hiring a full-time pastry chef.
Naturally, the ideal candidate should have experience working as part of a fast-paced team, a strong understanding of pastry and bread fundamentals, and a solid work ethic. But more so, we’re looking for a creative co-conspirator who loves learning, thinking, and talking about great food. While the role primarily involves creative and production work on our breads and dessert menu, we are a collaborative scratch kitchen with opportunities for input elsewhere for the right candidate.
Morning/daytime availability required - expect 45 to maybe 50 hours per week, with some scheduling flexibility for days of the week and specific hours each day. Commercial kitchen and/or suitable educational experience required.
